The Canyon Trestle Dining Table is a big, bold, expandable dining table. It’s made from solid wood and is available unfinished. Contact a representative regarding unlimited finishing options. Solid wood products last a lifetime. The mechanism to open and close this table is called a ball-bearing full-extension cable glide system. This glide includes a limited lifetime warranty. One person can open and close this table! The leaf is called a butterfly and is stored inside the table.

This table is made of solid parawood. Parawood grows on Malaysian plantations where its primary use is for latex production. In the past, the trees were burned before it was discovered the beauty and hardness of this wood.

Now harvested for furniture manufacturing when they are 25 to 30 years old, it’s truly ‘eco-friendly’ in that the wood is harvested from a renewable source. New trees are planted when the latex yields become extremely low. This makes rubberwood a great option for furniture. When today’s concern is regarding renewable options, parawood is a logical, affordable choice.

We use only conversion varnish, the highest quality finish available on the market, and the same high-quality finish as used by the Amish!

The butterfly leaf is self-storing, but with the extension in place, the table is 84 inches long with the leaf installed. It’s 66 inches (5-1/2 feet long) without the leaf, and with the thick base, this table is solid.
